Hamilton, NY — ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø junior Jessica Weiss will present a musical program of vocal works on Thursday, April 15, at noon in Memorial Chapel.
A soprano, Weiss attended Syosset High School and studied voice with Teresa Arrigo. Since arriving at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø, where she is a junior, she has been a student of Neva Pilgrim. A double concentrator in English and music, Weiss spent the fall semester on ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø’s study group in Manchester, England. She is the daughter of Mark and Arlene Weiss of Woodbury, NY.
The program will cover songs in English, Spanish, Italian, and French. Pianist Kerry Koen, a 1974 ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø graduate with a master’s in music from Syracuse University, will accompany Weiss for the concert. The recital is free and open to the public.
