Ernie Vandeweghe ’49, one of the Mount Rushmore figures of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø athletics and the school’s first All-America basketball player, died Saturday. He was 86. This Saturday, October 18, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø will host the annual Native American Arts and Culture Festival. The celebration of American Indian art, music, and dance will be held inside Sanford Field House from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

(Update: Demonstration ends with on-campus celebration) Constructive talks between ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø administrators and student representatives of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Association of Critical Collegians (ACC) are continuing into the evening on day four of a peaceful demonstration at James B. ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Hall.
