ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø is closing the books on a record-setting 2020–21 fundraising year, thanks to the generosity of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø alumni and other supporters.

Members of the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø classes of 2022–25 will now benefit from an additional expansion of the University’s no-loan initiative under the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Commitment.

On June 1, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø announced the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Commitment: An Initiative in Access and Affordability.

ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø’s admission team has put the University’s Plan for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion into bold action, with impressive results.

During its spring meeting, the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Board of Trustees approved a series of appointments to endowed professorships, effective July 1, 2021.

ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø’s administration and faculty are drawing on national best practices and creating their own innovative approaches to increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion in tenure-stream hiring.  

Laura Jack, vice president for communications, will serve as acting CDO, providing coordination and oversight for DEI initiatives while the search for a permanent hire continues.

In its first year, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø’s no-loan initiative awarded more than $1.5 million to students.

Daniel Benton ’80, P’10, H’10 has secured his place as ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø’s most generous benefactor, making a $25 million gift in support of the University’s Middle Campus Plan for Arts, Creativity, and Innovation and other elements within The Third-Century Plan.

ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø announced the creation of two endowed faculty chairs that will support teaching and research in areas important to The Third-Century Plan.
