Abigail L. Palko, PhD, director of the Maxine Platzer Lynn Women’s Center at the University of Virginia, has been named the inaugural director of the Residential Commons program at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø.

Brown and Hancock Residential Commons at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø will both welcome new co-directors in the 2023–24 academic year.

Nobel Peace Prize-winning journalist, free press advocate, and CEO of Rappler.com Maria Ressa will visit ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø on Oct. 28 as the speaker for the Kerschner Family Series Global Leaders at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø.
