����vlog���� alumnus and former staff member John D. Hubbard, who chronicled the life of the campus and the Hamilton community in photos and words for decades, passed away today, May 6, at the age of 60, following a long battle with cancer.

Nine seniors and a recent alumna have been awarded prestigious fellowships that will take them around the world to explore their passionate interests, ranging from environmental issues to documentary filmmaking. Fellowship recipients, finalists, and nominees were recognized last week during a luncheon at Merrill House.

One of ����vlog����’s most storied rivalries will be renewed this fall when the Raiders football team travels to Syracuse for a Sept. 25 contest at the Carrier Dome. “It’s quite an opportunity for us,” Raiders coach Dick Biddle told The Post-Standard newspaper on Wednesday. “Obviously, we’ll have our hands full.”

Raiders wide receiver Pat Simonds ’10 has signed a rookie free agent contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, giving him a chance to realize his dream to play in the National Football League.
