With the Class of 2019, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø graduates the first class of film and media studies majors

Award-winning journalist Ann Curry visited ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø to discuss climate change and her career.

The easternmost of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø’s two new residential facilities will be named Burke Hall, in recognition of a $10 million gift from Gretchen ’81 and Steve ’80 Burke P’11,’20.

William Rosencrans ’19 will spend a year conducting biomedical research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Md., as a 2019 Intramural Research Training Award (IRTA) recipient.

ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø’s Board of Trustees has announced its new leadership team and welcomes eight new members, effective May 4, 2019. As previously announced, Michael J. Herling ’79, P’08’09’12, assumes the role of board chair; joining him are vice chairs Gus P. Coldebella ’91 and Jeanne Follansbee ’78, P’08.

One of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø’s two new residence halls will be named Jane Pinchin Hall.

D’Jonita Cottrell ’19, an educational studies and psychology double major from Brockton, Mass., has won ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø’s 1819 Award.
