This summer, I was a sales and marketing intern for Patron Technology, a leading ticketing and event technology company.

ULI’s new online Foundations of Real Estate (FoRE) curriculum is targeted to undergraduate students at liberal arts colleges and universities. FoRE, which debuted at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø during the 2019–2020 academic year, is a key part of the Institute’s efforts to identify, diversify, and broaden the pool of young people interested in a real estate career.

Starting this June, all students are invited to a summer-long series of interactive virtual events with alumni.

ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Career Services is using virtual programming to help students continue exploring, networking, and searching for internships and jobs.

Career Services continues to serve students while off campus.

The inaugural ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Real Estate Council Conference took place in New York City on January 15, 2020. The event gathered alumni leaders in the industry to discuss current topics in commercial real estate. Nearly 200 people attended, including students on the annual ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Career Services Real Estate Immersion Trip, which provides an opportunity for undergraduates to learn about the industry from alumni.

I was given the opportunity this summer to perform research at The Young Lab at the University of California, Santa Barbara, a lab focusing on community ecology and conservation biology. I was tasked with leading a new experiment on tick survivorship and how it is influenced by global warming.

This summer, I had the opportunity to work as a legal intern at The James B. Moran Center for Youth Advocacy. The staff included attorneys, grant-writers, social workers, and communication experts, all of which served as my mentors throughout my internship.

This summer I had the privilege of working as a press intern for Senator Charles E. Schumer in Washington, D.C. Senator Schumer’s unique role as not only the senior Senator from New York, but also as the United States Senate Minority Leader, allowed me to gain exposure to both state-wide and national governance.
